Anne Mardell

The Anne Mardell label was conceived in the early 1980's by Anne and later to be husband, Neil, with next to no capital, a borrowed VW Beetle, and boundless enthusiasm. Sold throughout Australasia for over twenty years, the label is now only available through selected boutiques in New Zealand, as well as their two Auckland based stores, in Parnell and Mt Eden Village.

The label is proudly designed and manufactured in New Zealand.

Anne Mardell had developed a unique perspective using pleating, prints and colour. Customers have grown to appreciate the innovative draping of beautiful fabrics applied to the garments.

 Anne Mardell is also well known for her unique use of heat manipulation of textile.  She has an intuitive eye for colour and print and will often completely transform a chosen fabric.
